Bourbon Street Hotel and Casino was a smaller hotel-casino near the Las Vegas Strip on East Flamingo Road. One unusually clear chapter in its business history survives in Crown Casino Corporation’s own financial filing: an agreement to buy the property in July 1995 was abandoned that November.
An announced casino sale is not the same as a completed change of ownership. Crown’s filing records a proposed $10 million purchase, followed by its decision to withdraw and write off its deposit and related costs. The document helps distinguish plans for Bourbon Street from events that actually happened.
