Vegas Retold

Clear terms for every Story and Pass.

These Terms govern vegasretold.com, Vegas Retold Accounts, and the individual Vegas Retold Pass.

Version 1.0 · Effective date: September 1, 2026

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Vegas Retold LLC (“Vegas Retold,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing vegasretold.com and its Account, Pass, correction, support, and related features (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Additional terms apply only when they are clearly presented before the relevant action.

The public history pages are intended for a general audience aged 13 and older. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an Account or purchase or activate a Pass. The Service is not directed to children under 13.

2. Accounts

Some features require a verified email Account. You agree to provide accurate information, protect access to your email and active sessions, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. We may limit or suspend an Account to protect the Service, comply with law, address fraud, or respond to a material breach of these Terms. You may sign out through your Account and may request Account closure by contacting support@vegasretold.com. Purchase, security, and legal records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Personal, non-commercial use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service and purchased access for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

  • resell, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or a Pass;
  • copy or republish substantial Story, audio, photographic, design, or database content;
  • circumvent Account, payment, device, security, rate-limit, or access controls;
  • use automated extraction to reproduce the collection or build a competing service;
  • introduce malicious code, interfere with operation, or probe without authorization; or
  • use the Service or submission process unlawfully, deceptively, abusively, or to violate rights.

Nothing in these Terms restricts fair use, quotation, accessibility, research, or other rights provided by law. Third-party material remains subject to the rights of its owner.

4. Stories, evidence, and submissions

Vegas Retold distinguishes documented fact, attributed recollection, interpretation, and unresolved gaps. Historical and current-viewing information can change and may be incomplete. The Service is not legal, medical, safety, travel, or navigation advice. Use your own judgment and follow posted rules and current conditions when visiting a place.

A correction or source submission opens editorial review and does not change a page automatically. You represent that you have the right to provide submitted material. You grant Vegas Retold a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to receive, copy, retain, review, verify, and use the submission only for editorial review, corrections, sourcing, and related records. Do not send confidential, sensitive, unlawful, or unnecessary personal information.

If you send non-confidential product feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use it to improve and promote the Service. This feedback license does not apply to correction evidence, third-party source material, or creative work submitted under a separate agreement.

5. Vegas Retold Pass

The individual Vegas Retold Pass costs $5.99 total, works on one active device, and provides seven days of access beginning when you explicitly activate it. Purchase does not start the seven-day period. You must activate within 90 days after purchase. The current Account experience does not provide a Pass-transfer tool.

The offer and Account page identify the content and features currently included. Paid content may be used remotely and does not require precise location or completion of a route. Replacing an active device revokes the prior device’s access. After expiry, premium content relocks, while public content remains available.

6. Payments, refunds, and support

Stripe processes Pass payments under its own terms and privacy practices. By starting Checkout, you confirm that you have reviewed and accepted the version of these Terms and the Privacy Policy shown beside the purchase control. Taxes, if legally required, will be shown before payment.

You are eligible for a refund when:

  • you request one before activating the Pass;
  • you request one within 24 hours after activation and have opened fewer than two premium Experience Stops; or
  • a material technical or access failure prevents the paid Service from being provided.

A Pass that remains unactivated for 90 days expires and is eligible for a refund. Ordinary refunds are not available after substantial use or expiry of an activated Pass, except where required by law. Email support@vegasretold.com from the purchasing Account and include the purchase date and a short description of the request. Nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights or payment-dispute rights.

7. Ownership

Vegas Retold LLC and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, including original Stories, editing, narration, design, software, trademarks, and compilations. These Terms grant only the limited use right stated above and do not transfer ownership.

8. Third-party services

The Service may link to Stripe, Amazon, social networks, maps, archives, museums, and other third-party services. We do not control them. Their own terms and privacy practices apply, and an external link is not a guarantee of availability, accuracy, accessibility, safety, or endorsement.

9. Availability, suspension, and termination

We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue free features. We may limit access for security, fraud, unlawful conduct, or material breach. These rights do not erase an exact paid offer, a refund obligation, or a non-waivable legal right. If advertised paid value becomes materially unavailable during an active Pass, contact Support for a refund or replacement access window.

Sections concerning ownership, submissions, disclaimers, liability, disputes, and provisions that by their nature should survive will remain effective after termination.

10. Privacy and accessibility

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal information. If these Terms conflict with that Policy about personal-information processing, the Policy controls. Our Accessibility page describes the current accessibility commitment.

11. Disclaimers

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” VEGAS RETOLD DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT THE SERVICE WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR COMPLETE. THESE DISCLAIMERS DO NOT APPLY TO WARRANTIES OR RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VEGAS RETOLD AND ITS MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID VEGAS RETOLD DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

These limits do not apply where prohibited by law, including to liability that cannot be limited or excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and disputes concerning them or the Service are governed by Nevada law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your residence provides non-waivable rights. No arbitration agreement or class-action waiver applies under these Terms.

Before filing a claim, please email support@vegasretold.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it informally. Any court claim must be brought in a state or federal court located in Clark County, Nevada, unless applicable law requires another forum. Either party may bring an eligible individual claim in small-claims court or seek urgent equitable relief in a court with jurisdiction.

14. Changes and general terms

We may update these Terms by posting a new version and effective date. If a change materially affects an Account or active paid access, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the Service or email when appropriate. A revised version will not retroactively change an existing purchase unless you expressly agree or the change is required by law.

These Terms and incorporated policies are the entire agreement about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only as much as necessary and the remainder will continue. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of the business or assets.

15. Contact
