Sunset Station opened in Henderson in 1997, bringing a Spanish- and Mediterranean-themed resort to the Sunset Road commercial corridor. Its clock tower, domed turrets and ornamental entrance give the property a distinct silhouette among the shopping and roads around it.
Station Casinos' 2016 annual report described a resort combining the hotel and casino with restaurants, a cinema, bowling and entertainment venues. It also recorded a hotel-room renovation completed that December. These are chapters in the property's development, rather than a list of facilities guaranteed unchanged today.
Sunset Station belongs to the Las Vegas Valley's neighborhood-resort story: a destination for local outings as well as hotel stays. Its mix extends beyond gaming. The operator's website, checked in October 2026, continues to present hotel rooms, dining, bowling, movies and entertainment.
Inside, the Gaudi Bar provides a connection between the casino and its decorative theme. The company's 2016 account described it as a centerpiece with extensive stained glass; the current operator still lists the bar. Sunset Station and the nearby Wildfire Sunset are separate properties, despite their shared Sunset name.
