Railroad Pass dates its opening to 1931, placing its beginnings in the same year Nevada legalized casino gambling again. The property stands on the outskirts of Henderson near Boulder City, where the rocky landscape remains a conspicuous part of the setting.

Its long history should not be confused with the age of every visible building. The supplied photograph shows a hotel wing and low casino frontage, but does not establish when those structures were added. This page treats 1931 as the casino's opening year, without claiming that the illustrated hotel is the original building.

The operator presents Railroad Pass as a place to encounter its own history, describing a room with photographs, memorabilia and a historic bank safe. Such objects can offer a more tangible connection to the property's past than its age alone.

When checked in October 2026, the official website offered casino gaming, dining and rooms at the attached Ramada by Wyndham hotel. Railroad Pass is separate from its sister property, The Pass Casino in downtown Henderson. Similar names and shared loyalty promotion should not be mistaken for one location.

What remains uncertain

  • Opening is recorded at year precision from the operator. The stronger longest-running-casino marketing claim is not independently established here.
  • The supplied photograph is undated; visible hotel/casino wings are not attributed to the 1931 opening.
