Copa Lounge was a small gambling venue cataloged at 3103 South 5th Street on the Las Vegas Strip. The Museum of Gaming History preserves its identity through gaming-chip records and a chip order card, separate from the much better-known Copa Room at the Sands.
The shared word “Copa” can hide very different businesses. This entry follows the standalone Copa Lounge identified in the gaming-collectibles catalog. Its surviving chip records provide a more specific trail than the name alone, helping distinguish the lounge from a resort showroom or another club with a similar name.
Copa Lounge catalog: 3103 S 5th St; table-chip records and Burt chip order card CG247693 dated September 16, 1964. Catalog period distinguished from final closure. Checked October 31, 2026.
What remains uncertain
The catalog lists 1955–1964, but a complete chronology, any relocation and an exact final closing date have not been independently established here.
A chip order dated September 16, 1964 is an artifact date, not proof of the venue’s final operating day.
This record excludes the Sands Copa Room and the separate Club Copa identity.
