Bar of Music was an early Las Vegas music and gaming venue on the Strip. Local reporting on the Treniers places the group’s performances there in 1948, connecting this smaller club to the city’s developing live-music scene.
Las Vegas entertainment history was made in small clubs as well as resort showrooms. The Treniers’ connection gives Bar of Music a place in that history even though the venue itself is gone. It also makes the Las Vegas identity worth distinguishing from the similarly named Bar of Music in Reno, which can complicate collectible attributions.
